Coconut oil is a unique combination of fatty acids which can have positive effects on health with medium chain triglycerides. Hence it is most widely used in food industry. Lauric acid makes up more than 50% of coconut oil. It acts as an anti-bacterial and eliminates viruses and bacteria in the body.
 Coconut oil has a relatively high melting point. So this widely used oil is also used in frying oil production, making raw materials for detergents, soap making and the production of ice cream coating in addition to extensive use in the food industry.
